Using natural elements such as fallen wood, grass, silver, gold, ceramic, and paper. These renowned designers create Zulugrass Jewelry using what nature provides: a hollow fibrous grass that is resistant to drought and so tough, starving cattle will not eat it. This grass is havested, dried and then cut into tiny pieces. Once it is dyed it is then strung with the addition of Czech glass beads to add sparkle by the Maasai women as they work in the open air under Acacia trees. Mobile work stations bring the work to the people, allowing them to maintain their culture and still have economic stability.
